Creative Writing Competition 2021
We are incredibly excited to share with you our new Creative Writing Competition.
COMPETITION DETAILS
Write a persuasive piece of writing of no more than 500 words, on the following;
You have been selected to make a speech in parliament, to convince MP’s to take action on a issue of your choice; a topic that you feel passionate about.
The speech can be on one specific topic or can cover a variety.
The entries will be judged by our tutors on your persuasive skills, including the following;
- Theme/ Imagination & Ideas
- Style of Writing
- Structure
- Rhetorical questions
- Mature writing
…and your powers of persuasion!
GUEST JUDGE
We are also very pleased to have guest judge, Ealing & Acton’s MP Rupa Haq, who will announce the winner in the new year.
Any children aged between 6 years old ( Year 2) and 16 years old (year 11), with a UK address can enter. Deadline; 31st December 2021.
THE WINNERS
There will be 3 winners;
One student from years 2 (KS2)
One student from years 3 – 6 (KS2)
One student from years 7 – 11 (KS3 & KS4)
