If you choose the option to pay by direct debit for the Year-round Total group workshop, then a deposit is required for the creative writing and maths workbooks. The reason for the deposit, is if the student leaves before the full course finishes, then they loose the deposit money which covers the cost of the workbooks – which they have had access to while on the course. If the student stays to end of the course, the full deposit money is refunded. This is calculated in terms of not paying for the last 3 lessons of the course, at the end of the academic year.  Parents don’t pay the last 3 lessons in July (2 lessons cover the cost of a creative writing and maths workbook) which is the deposit money plus their children receive 1 free complimentary lesson, for no charge, so total 3 lessons unpaid.  Pls note a deposit is only required for direct debit payments for Year-round Total group workshop for Twyford Tuition kids courses only.  A deposit is not required for any other courses, including the 11+.

We can’t enforce the camera being on, however it is much better for the student and the tutor if they can see each other during the lesson. The student will get so much more from the lesson, if the camera stays on as the tutor will be able to communicate better with the student. The tutor will be able to  see the student’s face and see if they are struggling or they are confident, even without them saying.

Most the lessons are on Microsoft teams, but occasionaly we use Zoom instead. Once your booked on to the course, we will email you the links on zoom or microsoft teams, for all the courses.
